The City of Altoona is governed by a mayor and six council persons who are elected for two-year terms. The City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 1303 Lynn Avenue, Altoona, Wisconsin.
