Sealed bids, submitted in accordance with the Invitation for Bids for Procurement No. 2010-04, Kewin Street Reconstruction will be received in City Hall at 1303 Lynn Avenue until 2:00 p.m. Central Time on October 6, 2011.
The bids will be opened and made public in the Council Chambers at Altoona City Hall, 1303 Lynn Avenue, Altoona, Wisconsin within ten minutes after the bid submission deadline has passed.
Work under this contract will include, but will not be limited to, the following.
The project includes approximately 1,400 lineal feet of street and utility reconstruction consisting of sanitary sewer and services, low-pressure sanitary sewer and services, driveway culverts, minimum storm sewer, grading, graveling with city-supplied pulverized material, asphaltic concrete pavement, and lawn restoration. Also included is the installation of a POWTS (Privately Owned Wastewater Treatment System). Specific questions regarding the plans and specifications for Project 2010-04 shall be directed to the City Enginner at 715-839-6092.
A 5% bid security is required.
The successful bidder for this project will be required to pay State wage rates, determined in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter Section 66.0903.
