The newly expanded Altoona Public Library is housed in City Hall at 1303 Lynn Avenue. The library has over 40,000 cataloged books, 5,000 paperbacks, many children and adult periodicals, audio books, DVDs, and videos for all members of the family.
The Library is a member of the Indianhead Federated Library System and with the on-line MORE System. With the MORE system, library patrons can access items from over 40 additional MORE member libraries in the area. Stop by, visit the Library's website, or call 715-839-5029 for more details.
