Comprehensive Plan

Altoona's Comprehensive Plan is a guidebook for future development of the City of Altoona. It provides the most recent available statistics and survey data, documents the important issues of concern identified by City residents, and sets forth goals, objectives, policies, and recommendations for actions to be pursued by the City in the coming years. The plan covers topics mandated by Wisconsin State Statute 66.1001, but the content of the plan reflects local concerns. This plan looks forward 20 years to 2030, but it should be reviewed annually and fully updated every ten years.
