Attention Altoona Utility CustomersEffective January 1, 2012 the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has authorized the Altoona Water and Sewer Utility to assess a Twenty-five Dollar ($25.00) charge whenever an existing customer requests a special meter reading by utility personnel on a date other than the regular scheduled meter reading date. A separate billing will be mailed to the property owner or property management company. The meter read fee will not be charged if the customer provides the meter reading.
