City of Altoona announces P10 Photography Contest

The City of Altoona invites you to participate in the inaugural P10 Festival Photography Contest. This contest is a great opportunity for you to put your photography skills to work. Help us to showcase the natural beauty of River Prairie and the greater Chippewa Valley by participating in this contest. Remember you don't need to be a professional photographer or have an expensive camera, just follow the submission parameters and submit your entry.

DIVISIONS
- Adult (18 years and older)
- Youth (17 years and younger)
CATEGORIES
- Birds of the Chippewa Valley
- Nature - could include plants, wildlife and landscapes of the Chippewa Valley
- People - images of individuals and groups of people from within the Chippewa Valley
- River Prairie area - images originating from River Prairie
AWARDS
General
- Best of Show = $125
- Mayor's Choice = $50
Adult: Juried competition; prizes awarded for each of the four categories are:
- 1st Place = $100
- 2nd Place = $50
- 3rd Place = $25
- Honorable Mention = Ribbon
Youth: Juried competition; prizes awarded are:
- 1st Place = $100
- 2nd Place = $50
- 3rd Place = $25
- Honorable Mention = Ribbon
RULES
Participants are limited to five (5) entries with no more than two (2) entries per category. Participants must also provide photos as high quality digital files for publication purposes. Please send images to altoonaphotos@gmail.com. Please provide your category, name, title to each file. All photos must be submitted by Friday, April 27, 2018 no later than the times listed at the locations listed below:
