Independence Day Celebration Rescheduled to Tuesday, July 3rd

Due to projected inclement weather, the Altoona Independence Day Celebration is being rescheduled to Tuesday, July 3, 2018. We look forward to seeing you at Cinder City Park for a great evening of family fun.
Below is a schedule of events:
Gates open on Tuesday July 3rd at 5:00 p.m.
Food Trucks/Concession will open at 5:00 p.m.
Freedom Five Races (Pre-register online at www.altoonajuly4th.com or Register day of at 5:30 p.m.)
- Freedom Five 5k Run/Walk (ages 9+) to begin at 7:00 p.m.
- Lil' Firecracker ¼ Mile Run (age 5-8) to begin at 7:45 p.m.
- Sparkler 75 Yard Dash (ages 1-4) to begin at 8:00 p.m.
Tournaments: (Pre-register online at www.altoonajuly4th.com or Register day of at 5:30 p.m. for Bean Bag, Cribbage, and Kubb)
- Softball 4 team Single Elimination to begin at 6:00 p.m. (Pre-registration required)
- Bean Bag to begin at 6:00 p.m.
- Cribbage to begin at 6:00 p.m.
- Kubb to begin at 6:00 p.m.
Austin Fire will take the stage at 6:30 p.m.
Kids Zone 5-9 p.m.
Fireworks sponsored by "Festival Foods Fireworks" to start at 10:00 p.m.
