Company picked to run River Prairie park, event center

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- A public-private partnership will ensure operations of a new event center in Altoona will run smoothly.

The City of Altoona says they've selected King Pin Management as the River Prairie Center and River Prairie Park operator.

The city says King Pin management comes to the table with more than three decades of experience managing properties and events including Cinder City Days, Wagner's Lanes and The Complex, and Stout Ale House.

King Pin Management will help the city with branding, marketing, event coordination and more at River Prairie Park and the River Prairie Events Center set to open later this summer.
