City of Altoona working on an update to its Official Map

The City of Altoona is working to update its Official Map to plan for future infrastructure in the Highway 12 corridor and future South Neighborhood, within the City's 1.5-mile extraterritorial jurisdiction. The purpose of the Official Map is to provide for predictable, contiguous, and efficient planning of future infrastructure. For more information, please see the Memo from the City Planner, illustrations of the proposed amendment, and consider attending one of the following sessions:

The Plan Commission will consider a recommendation on the proposed amendment on July 14, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. The Public Hearing is scheduled for the City Council on July 23, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
