Altoona City Council tours new Staybridge Suites

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- A new hotel in an up and coming part of Altoona hopes to serve longer-term visitors to the area.

The Staybridge Suites is now open on Bluestem Boulevard. It's located right by Highway 53, near the River Prairie Development.

The 90,000 square-foot hotel has 135 rooms and is designed for extended-stay guests.

Altoona's City Council got a tour of the hotel Tuesday.
