ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- A new restaurant has opened just off Highway 53 in Altoona.
Za51 pizzeria is a new restaurant that specializes in homemade pizza and features an outdoor patio. The restaurant is owned and operated by the same owners of Draganetti's Ristorante and Taverna Grill in Eau Claire.
Construction on the project broke ground October of 2016, and co-owner Joanne Palzkill is excited to see the restaurant finally open. Palzkill says her family moved from Chicago to northern Wisconsin in 1951, hence the 51 in the name. Read more about this article »
