ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- Crews were called to a fire in Altoona late Friday night.

Altoona and Township Fire responded to the 800 block of Harriet Street between Valmont Avenue and Hamilton Avenue around 9:40 p.m. for a duplex fire.

Our photographer on scene said there was heavy smoke coming from the front door of the duplex and light smoke was coming from the roof.

An Altoona Firefighter said one person was treated on the scene for minor smoke inhalation.

There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
