Groundbreaking ceremony for new hotel in Altoona

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- A new hotel will be built in Altoona's River Prairie Development.

Larson Companies held a groundbreaking ceremony this afternoon for the new Staybridge Suites.

The hotel will have 135 rooms. Construction of the 90,000 square foot hotel is expected to be complete late spring of 2016.
