Altoona's River Prairie Development area creates new committee

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU)- As the River Prairie Development area continues to grow in Altoona, the city is creating a new committee to plan out its future. Altoona's "Economic Development Work Group" held their first meeting Wednesday night.

As the city continues to expand, the group will be tasked to give input on it's future business and housing needs. The group will be made up of 12 city leaders, including council members and the school's superintendent.
