Lake Altoona water levels to be raised May 7

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- Lake Altoona's water will soon be on the rise.
The Eau Claire County Parks and Forest Department said it'll begin to raise the water to normal summer elevation on Monday, May 7.
Parks and Forest Director Josh Pedersen said lake front property owners will have through May 6 to do any lake front improvements to their property before the level begins to rise.
Pedersen said the ice is currently breaking up on the lake. Read more about this article »
