NEW INFORMATION: Cause of Altoona home fire identified

Altoona, Wisc. (WEAU) -- Officials have now confirmed the cause of the fire that destroyed an Altoona home.
Chief Jesse James says firefighters were on the scene until noon today putting out hot spots. He also said it was started by an electrical fire in the flooring.
According to officials, the fire started between the first and second floors and the house is considered a total loss. Read more about this article »
