The City of Altoona, WI, population 8,651, invites applications from janitor-custodian worker for part-time work. This crew member will maintain buildings and grounds in a clean and orderly condition. In addition to daily routine cleaning, the janitor-custodian worker will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as shampooing rugs, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors, washing walls and windows, tending furnaces, changing light bulbs, keeping track of and ordering supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties, set-up and arrange tables and chairs in preparation for meetings, notifying city administration of need for repairs and removal of snow or debris from sidewalks. Experience minimum of one-year of related work experience
Start as soon as possible
Work Week up to 16 hours per week; typically 2-4 hours daily
Wage $14.20 - $18.25 per hour dependent upon qualifications
