Altoona Police Department to undergo an on-site assessment from the WILEAG - public is invited to comment

On May 15, 2025, the Altoona Police Department will be undergoing its on-site assessment for full accreditation through the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG). As part of this process, there will be a public comment period held at the police department, 1904 Spooner Avenue, Altoona, WI on Thursday, May 15th, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM.

We encourage members of the public to take this opportunity to share their perspectives and feedback about the police department with the assessors. Please note that this session is designed for sharing your views and is not a question-and-answer forum.

For those who are unable to attend in person, you can also share your perspectives by phone on May 15th, 2025 between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM by calling 715-839-6090 and using extension 1835. Thank you in advance for your participation.
