PREVEA'S New Medical Office Building in Altoona to Open November 11, 2019

Altoona - Prevea Health is pleased to announce its new medical office building, located at 3119 Woodman Dr. in Altoona's River Prairie development area, will open for patient care on Monday, Nov. 11.

The Prevea Altoona Medical Office Building will offer Prevea primary and specialty health care services:

  • Urgent Care
  • Pediatrics
  • Family Medicine
  • Women's Care
  • Internal Medicine
  • Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
  • Behavioral Care
  • Audiology
  • Lab and X-ray

Many of the services that will be offered at the Prevea Altoona Medical Office Building are being relocated from various Prevea health centers in nearby communities. The new building allows Prevea to be more efficient, create room for future growth and deliver an enhanced level of care, comfort and convenience to patients, close to home.

"We look forward to continue offering our patients the exceptional health care they've come to know and trust at Prevea - only now, in a new facility designed for efficiency, comfort and state-of-the-art health care and technologies."
 
The Prevea Altoona Medical Office Building is two stories high and approximately 30,500 square feet. Environmentally-friendly practices have been used throughout the construction process including the use of locally-sourced materials, LED lighting and low-flow plumbing.
 
Community Open House l Thursday, Nov. 7
A community open house is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m., with tours and refreshments to follow. All are welcome! For more information, visit: www.prevea.com/altoona
