Message from the Altoona Water Utility | Billing and Payment Options

Friday, March 20, 2020
City of Altoona staff

In light of the recent changes in our office operations due to COVID-19, we won't be able to provide in-person customer service.  We want you to know that the lines of communication are open and that you can reach out to us via email or by telephone.

FIRST QUARTER UTILITY BILLING

The first quarter bills will be sent out during the first week of April.

PAPERLESS BILLING (E-Statement)

Instead of waiting on "snail mail" for your utility bill to arrive, you can sign up to receive your bill via email.  To request paperless e-billing, please send us a note at utilities@ci.altoona.wi.us or give us a call at 715-318-5840.

PAYING YOUR UTILITY BILL

  1. On-line
Visit the City's HOME page and click on Pay Water Utility Bills >>
  2. Direct Pay
Free, convenient, saves time and postage!  Click here to learn more >>
  3. Check or Money Order
You can mail payments to: Altoona Water Utility, 1303 Lynn Avenue, Altoona, WI 54720
  4. Drop-box
Even though City Hall is closed, you can still hand-deliver your check or money order to us.  You can place your payment in the drop-box located on the brick wall to the right of the City Hall front entrance.  The drop-box is emptied on a regular basis.
