Altoona, WI -- The City of Altoona is thrilled to announce the grand opening of The Yard Container Park, a dynamic new downtown destination for food, fun, live music, and community vibes! The celebration takes place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 211 Division Street, Altoona, WI 54720. Admission is free and all are welcome!

The Yard promises a solid slate of festivities, activities, and entertainment for all ages. The event features local musicians, family-friendly attractions, and community tournaments, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.

Event Schedule

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Live Music by Dave "Dusty" Engedal Kick off the day with live performances by local favorite Dave "Dusty" Engedal.

12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Inflatable Fun & Mini Golf Enjoy inflatables and a round of mini golf, perfect for kids and families.

1:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Grand Opening Ceremony Join city leaders and special guests as we officially open The Yard Container Park!

1:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Juggling Performance by Kevin Schwartz Be amazed by a live juggling performance from entertainer Kevin Schwartz.

2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Live Music by Tommy Margarita & Balloon Artists Groove to live music by Tommy Margarita while enjoying creative balloon art.
