River Prairie Park Awarded Park Design Award from the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association

Altoona, WI -- Altoona Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that Altoona's River Prairie  Park was awarded the Park Design Award (for projects over $1,000,000) by the Wisconsin Park  and Recreation Association. This award was based on the River Prairie's overall innovation,  functionalism, aesthetics, community benefits, environmental stewardship, and maintenance  procedures. WPRA award recipients will be honored on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at the WPRA Virtual Awards Ceremony.
