Seasonal calendar parking begins November 15

Thursday, November 7, 2019
City of Altoona staff

  • If your residence has a driveway or usable off-street parking, you are prohibited from leaving any vehicle on any residential street between the hours of midnight and 7 AM.
  • If your residence does not have off-street parking, you must park your vehicle on the even numbered side of the street on even numbered calendar days and on the odd numbered side of the street on odd numbered calendar days. The side of the street is determined by the date at midnight. For examples, if you park your vehicle at 10 PM for the night on an even numbered date, you should park on the odd numbered side of the street based on the date change that will occur at midnight.
  • This ordinance does not supersede more restrictive parking regulations in effect such as Snow Emergency Routes or No Parking Zones.
