City of Altoona and Eau Claire Area EDC Announce River Prairie Festival - Celebration of Art

ALTOONA, WI - The City of Altoona and Eau Claire Area EDC are excited to announce the River Prairie Festival - Celebration of Art, a community event that celebrates the kickoff to the 2024 season of programming in River Prairie Park and art in the Chippewa Valley! The River Prairie Festival will take place in River Prairie Park (on Saturday, May 11, 2024) from 10AM - 4 PM.

With confirmed activities such as live music, artist market, food trucks, yoga in the park, cover song contest, bird walk, face painting and glitter tattoos, chalk art, live mural painting, Mother's Day potting and planting, giant pumpkin growing seminar/plant giveaway, rubber ducky race, scavenger hunt, cribbage tournament, city bus exhibit, ARTmobile, robotics team, and balloon artist/juggler there is something for everyone to enjoy at River Prairie Festival!

River Prairie Festival - Celebration of Arts is presented by Prevail Bank. The event is additionally sponsored by Visit Eau Claire, TDS Fiber, Ayres Associates, Market & Johnson, Inc., WESTconsin Credit Union, Wipfli, Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Down to Earth Garden Center.
