River Prairie Announces Official Logo

Tuesday, January 23, 2018

ALTOONA, Wis. - The City of Altoona is proud to officially release the River Prairie logo.  The logo features a singing Red-winged Blackbird perched on a piece of prairie grass, both are staples of the River Prairie destination.

"This logo reflects the active, convivial and natural atmosphere that is present in River Prairie.  It has become apparent that an expansive variety of birds call River Prairie home," said Mike Golat, City Administrator of the City of Altoona.

According to the City of Altoona Mayor, Brendan Pratt, "This logo is a symbol of how people and nature interact in River Prairie.  River Prairie offers visitors the opportunity to experience a diverse environment which hosts a variety of plant and animal species."

The logo will be reflected on all River Prairie documents and media going forward, including the website, riverprairie.com.
