The Wisconsin DNR estimates that 30% of the waste entering our landfills could be composted. Eau Claire County aims to divert waste from entering landfills by promoting waste diversion practices like recycling, reuse, and composting. During last year's compost bin sale over 300 homes in our community purchased a compost bin and we hope for even more this year!
