Northwestern Bank opened their new River Prairie branch in Altoona Monday. The new location replaced the Northwestern Bank branch at Mall Drive in Eau Claire, which closed on Friday.

Hoeft Builders constructed the new bank which has a fresh contemporary setting.

Jerry Jacobson, president of Northwestern Bank, is excited about the new location.

"We think it's going to be great. It's going to be great for our customers and the ability to garner a lot more business in the Chippewa Valley," said Jacobson.

The River Prairie branch is the bank's 7th location.
