The site is behind Altoona City Hall on the NW corner of Hayden Avenue and 1st Street East (click here for location on Google Maps).

Below is a randomized drawing entry for eight (8) total, 20 ft x 25 ft community garden spaces.
One entry and potential plot per household. Available only to Altoona residents.
 
The drawing entry is open until Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10AM.
Random drawing results will be announced on Friday, May 14, 2021 around Noon.
 
Staff is establishing a rules / best practices document for the garden.
There will be on-site water access.  There will be a fee of $20 per plot.
