Thursday, January 26, 2017

Altoona (WQOW) -

Some good news for the Altoona Police Department: they were able to raise more than $7,600 for their K-9 unit at a recent fundraising event.

Officers took to Facebook on Sunday to thank everyone who joined them at Draganetti's restaurant on Thursday, January 26. They said of the money raised, $1,600 came from an independent contribution from Draganetti's.

They also said the department already has another fundraiser planned for March.
