A family-friendly coffee franchise is on its way to Altoona. Although no official date has been set for completion, construction of the brand-new Cabin Coffee Co. shop should be complete by mid-August. Kelly and Joe Gribowski had been interested in opening a business and found a great opportunity in Altoona's expanding River Prairie development. They saw there was a need for something new, and a coffee shop was the right niche. Cabin Coffee Co. was the perfect choice: The focus on high-quality products and service drew the couple to the franchise. The venue will offer customers a convenient drive-through, a conference room for up to 30 guests, and coffee roasted on-site, meaning more of the aroma, natural oils, and flavor will be brought out of the coffee beans. Customers will be able to join Cabin Coffee Co.'s loyalty program, which can also be used in other store locations, including La Crosse and Rice Lake. Local coffee lovers can look forward to new coffee flavors, and to a unique white coffee! Kelly and Joe wanted to express how amazing and helpful the community has been working with them. The City of Altoona did a really great job guiding the couple and supporting them through the formation of their business, they said. Their motto: "Just Be Happy… And Have Fun!"
