NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that an election to be held in the City of Altoona on the first Tuesday of April, 2024, being the 2nd day of said month, the following officer is to be elected:

MAYOR FOR THE CITY OF ALTOONA:
Mayor for the City of Altoona, for the term of three years to succeed Brendan Pratt whose term will expire on the third Tuesday of April, 2024.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the 1st day to circulate nomination papers is Friday, December 1, 2023, and the final day for filing nomination papers in the Office of the Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary election will be held on the third Tuesday of February, 2024, being the 20th day of said month.

Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at all elections.  If you do not have a photo ID, you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
