Altoona leaders want your input on how to boost tourism numbers

Altoona (WQOW) - City of Altoona leaders are looking to boost their tourism numbers, and they want your input.

Released Wednesday is a virtual survey. In it, they're looking for input on your favorite activities to partake in.

Anything from your favorite restaurant, to one thing you would make a better place to visit.

Your input isn't going unnoticed. For every completed survey, you are entered into a drawing for a bloody mary prize pack.

"So, once we get call of this awesome information we're going to get from our residents and our tourists, we're going to use that information to inform our marketing strategy," said Roy Atkinson, management analyst for the City of Altoona. "We're hoping to provide some great things for residents and tourists alike to come and visit Altoona."
